The Housing Construction Incentive Programme (HCIP) is a new initiative by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, executed by the Housing Development Corporation (HDC). This program aims to stimulate private sector investment in housing construction, encouraging developers, contractors, and firms to build affordable housing units to meet the growing demand for homeownership in Trinidad and Tobago.

Developers, contractors, or firms that can finance, build, and sell housing units under the HCIP guidelines are eligible to participate.

Simple Steps to apply for the Housing Construction Incentive Programme (HCIP)
Step 1: Purchase the HCIP Registration Package
Cost: TTD $1,000 (VAT Inclusive)
Location: HDC Head Office, 44-46 South Quay, Port of Spain
Payment Methods: Cash, Linx, or Manager’s Cheque
Step 2: Collect the Package
Available Monday–Friday (excluding weekends & public holidays)
Time: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
Step 3: Submit Your Application
Place all documents in a 10” x 15” brown envelope
Drop-Off Location: HDC Head Office, 2nd Floor Submission Box
